Over the past few months I have been dying to just suck it up and purchase a pair of Tom Ford glasses because they go OFF! So I tend to go look at his website at least 2 times a month hoping it may say GET YOUR FREE PAIR HERE lol

Double Standards of my Imaginary Life

Over the past few months many have thrown shade to the homie Tiger Woods for his MANY side pieces over the past few years lol! Now while I never want to give a round of high fives to all the cheaters in the world I have come to realize I truly have a double standard when it comes to being cheated on by a dollarnaire VS a billionaire (smh). To me it is truly comical because I have internally thought long and hard about what I would do in that type of situation.

I can admit it REALLY sucks to get cheated on, but in my head I am weighing out the scenarios. Now before I get in to deep I am specifically talking about "celebrity" type men who cheat on their wives NOT men who are just cheating on their girlfriend because lets just face it you don't get to keep the house with that kind of title lol

I feel like Tigers mistake was not telling wifey at the alter like "yo before you say I do...I like sex I like sex with a lot of other people...I promise I will wear a condom...and you can spend all my money...if you agreed we good and I DO". That way at least the poor girl could have at least been like "I'll pass" or "word...lets keep the party going". Instead she has to walk around with the "I got played" face looking like Vanessa Bryant which doesn't really earn you any brownie points at your kids PTA meetings.

In my own make believe world I would never marry any celebrity be it athlete or Hollywood hunk without considering the fact he could cheat. Its a tough world out there for a man with the spotlight on him lol. I truly think the public discovery and slander across magazine racks nationwide is more of a GOTCHA BITCH then the actual act of the infidelity itself. I know what your saying though, "why marry if you know he will cheat then?" Valid question, but this is strictly a for humor type of thought process I am going through. So to answer the question, "WHY NOT?" I mean think about it if I am an avg college educated chick making avg money in higher education meet a eligible athlete who can knock my life up from avg to outstanding and chooses to "put a ring on it" and I truly love the guy who am I to turn it down because of the fear of the "what ifs"

To really drive my point home peep my open letter to my future husband

Dear future NFL husband,

I love you that's why I married you! Do I want you to cheat on me? HELL NO! Do I realize you could possible have hoes in different area codes, but still call me every night and say you love me? HELL YES! So here is what I am going to need you to do. If you can't keep it in your pants wear a condom, limit it to 2 hoes a year and run me them heffas backgrounds and we good. Hoodrats and hooters girls are UNACCEPTABLE. Lets limit them to chicks that have their OWN money so that they are not trying to spend up mine. Don't get mad if I am out doing me with Enrique my Yoga instructor because if you think I am going to sit at home and wait on you HA!

I am always 3 steps ahead of you so if you can't keep your hoes in check please note I will be more then happy to take full control of the mansion I had you build for me, my Nissan Murano (lol what you thought I would say Mercedes huh), the nanny and the child support for the 3 kids I popped out for insurance purposes. Oh and please make sure you put money aside for college tuitions and my "moms" apartment in Miami because "the kids" love spending summers there!

While I was clicking around in the internet world today and came across Sean Johns 2010 Spring/Summer collection. As I eluded to in my first post on The Nouveau Noir I am trying to tap into my inner fashion watcher!

In saying that I am really feeling this new collection. Especially this two pocket, single button, 100% wool suit pictured to the right!!!

I always wondered what I would buy for the business man in my life and by golly I think I have discovered it!

It looks even sexier in black and for $395.00 I would have to stop eating out for about 3months! But isn't that worth it to make your man just as sexy dressed as undressed O_o

It's always good to take time and spend with those that mean so much to you. This past weekend after the LIVEstyle Model Call I was able to catch up with some friends on U street in DC for drinks and food! We went to this place called The Next Door, the food was very good and the drinks were even better. They had a great Happy Hour as well, Its def a place to check out if you're ever in the area.

So a couple of weeks ago we celebrated the Birthday of my play Neice who was referred to that day as "Princess Nya" As her Couture Coach I must say that she is a diva in her own right. After hours of decorating and preparing we transformed the 3 Store Town house into a Princess Pad like none other... Crown Making, Dance Floor Equip with DJ, Cake, Games, and Fun Fun Fun. It hurts my heart to know my mother NEVER did stuff this big for me when I was a child... smh

Power Couples- The Intro

As Jame mentioned earlier I have in my possession the most awesome but yet simple but yet packed full of fun video camera ever called the FLIP! (see link and photo in previous post below)

During last weeks lunch we had a huge discussion on Power Couples....In a effort to really examine if two so called dominate figures could really exist in a healthy relationship.

We attempted to get the momentum going ala our first flip video, but Jame spent more time bringing you "into him" so we didn't quiiiite hit the core of the topic at hand.....but stay tuned!

Good Morning to all

I am Faith, but like "Jame" I also respond to Faithful, Fafe, Fayfe, Faye Faye and any other combo you can think of to destroy my 'God Given Name' (s/o to Solange lol). I think I am going to start dubbing myself "the sidekick" though when it comes to this project.

Primarily this is a blog for Jame to express himself about things going on in the city, things hes experienced and the overall excitements and lows of life! I am here to sprinkle input here and there primarily through video blogs with an occasional write up.

A night At the Movies: The Crazies

So last night instead of hitting the Club we decided to just get a couple of drinks and catch the 11:30 Opening viewing of the Crazies. The Crazies stars Timothy Olyphant (Hitman) Radha Mitchell (Silent Hill) and Danielle Panabaker (Friday the 13th). Seeing as though I had no expectations for the movie (I rarely have expectations for any scary movies) I really did enjoy it. I feel that it took a different approach to the seemingly played scary and suspenseful movies that have recently been released. I'd definently suggest taking a night and going to check it out.

The Sniffles: Do you feel the "Heat"

While doing some Valentine's Day shopping (Not for myslef sigh*... I digress) for one of my closest friends mate we found ourselves in the Macy's Frangrance sections trying out all the latest scents. Of course my body was used as the testing subject, I swear by time we left every section of my body smelled of a different Scent from Rocawear to Jean Paul Guaittier (my personal fav). In these economic hard times I have found myself not attending the mall frequently other than special occasions such as birthdays and holidays. I hadn't had the opportunity to take a sniff of the newest endeavor from Beyonce, the Love of my life. She looks great in the Ad and the Smell is nothing less than the perfect blend of Sweet and Spice just like the Queen herself.

Ladies this is a must buy, what guy doesn't want to reminded of Beyonce when your scent walks in the room...

Must See: Alice in Wonderland in 3-D

From Walt Disney Pictures and visionary director Tim Burton comes an epic 3D fantasy adventure ALICE IN WONDERLAND, a magical and imaginative twist on some of the most beloved stories of all time. JOHNNY DEPP stars as the Mad Hatter and MIA WASIKOWSKA as 19-year-old Alice, who returns to the whimsical world she first encountered as a young girl, reuniting with her childhood friends. Who didn't grow up loving this movie!? I am uber-excited to see this movie, I'm even beginning to think how to make an event out of it. Long Table Tea Party before perhaps??? ...hmmm regardless its definitely stamped a must see!

ABDC Fav: Static Noyze

Sometimes I honestly believe that God may have been giving us a break when he gave us DVR. MTV's America's Best Dance Crew Static Noyze really catches my attention. Something about them screams VCU to me...Not to mention the fact that I love the song "Whatcha Say" by Jason Derulo. I really think they are a crew to watch and will continue to produce an creative and artistic expression of Dance. You can catch ABDC Thursday nights on MTV.

Must See TV: Gaga Performs on VH1 this Friday!

Catch Gaga's performance from the 2009 VFest this Friday 2/26 at 11:00pm on VH1... I know this is an old performance but its always good to see Miss Gaga do her thing...

I enjoy taking time away from #thisjobofmines to enjoy good food with good friends. Sushi with my Sexy Boricua Faith always promises good laughs and great conversation. She is truly one of those people that makes your life worth living...

Martini and A Movie?.... Yes, Please!

Richmond was so excited when we learned we'd be receiving a movie theatre downtown. We were even more excited to learn that you'd be able to purchase wine and malt beverages. All was fine with the world until we all realized that to enjoy a drink and movie you'd have to arrive 30 Mins before your movie because drinks were not allowed in the theatre. #lame

Luckily, Richmond is taking another stab at the idea by bringing us the Cine'Bistro. A truly innovative dining and movie experience. The Cine'Bistro offers anyone who has a passion for movies and a palate for great food an environment unlike anything they have ever experienced before. Located in Stoney Point Fashion Park the CB will feature an upscale, yet inviting and comfortable atmosphere in which to dine while enjoying a major motion picture.

The CB is slated for a 2010 Opening, Let's hope its finish in time to enjoy Cosmos with Carrie B and Gang for the SATC2 release this summer!

This is Me.... Then.

So.... I've had this Blog ready to launch for a couple of days, however its taken me a while to realize what my first post should be about. I knew some type of introduction was necessary but I didn't know exactly what approach to take. So after numerous attempts which all ended with an excessive tapping of the backspace key I decided to just remain myself. I hope you like it...

Now that we have gotten that out of the way let me briefly introduce to you. The names Jameson... often referred to as Jame (Its really Jamie, But I like to keep things a little funky) by my friends. Since I have been young I have been obsessed with every form of Art. Whether it be Fashion, Entertainment, Music, Imagery it all has been so influential in the person that I have become today and because of that I will forever be grateful to the arts.

I grew up in a very small town by the name of Emporia, Va (The Black Hole). Many people know it as the little town off Interstate 95 where you are bound to catch a speeding ticket. But to my best friends and I it was A town where anything not ordinary was frowned upon.

I attended Virginia Commonwealth University and was so excited to leave home. I always knew I wanted to attend VCU, when I was in HS my friends and I would always visit the Fashion Shows, Step Shows, Homecoming Concerts and of course any party a 16 yr old could get into. I knew this University would be where I would feel free to express myself, and most importantly break away from the small, narrow minded box my hometown tried to make everyone fit in... And it truly was. I was able to grow not only academically but spiritually, emotionally, and morally. I met some of the most incredible people here and they have been added onto the list of my already existent and fruitful relationships.

Okay Okay Okay... I'm talking your head off. Let me give you the Cliff notes version of my life;

So... that's me in a nutshell. You can love me or You can Hate me but 9 out 10 times youll will think my outfits is undeniably cute. (just kidding)
